AMMAN -
Jordan’s Ministry of Investment has renewed the Jordanian Certificate
of Origin” for Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Technology
(TAGTech), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital (TAG.GD), while also
including new products certified under the logo.
The Certificate of Origin is
granted by the Ministry to enterprises that meet the eligibility criteria for
the “Made in Jordan” label. These criteria include adherence to quality
management systems, such as obtaining an (ISO 9001) certification issued by an
accredited body, and requirements related to quality of the production process
whose compliance with the local and international standards is accredited by a
technical or external authority. Quality control of production
necessitates the implementation of an effective quality management and quality
assurance system within the company.
Other supporting factors for
obtaining the certificate include the presence of an effective specialized
marketing department; a department specialized
in customer relationship management (CRM); and compliance with the
Decent Work Charter.
Commenting on this
achievement, HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of TAG.GD,
expressed his pride in this recognition, affirming his dedication to serving
Jordan by driving technological advancement in the country. He also reaffirmed
his confidence in Jordan’s knowledge-driven future under the leadership of His
Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein.
It is worth mentioning that
TAGTech’s factory, founded at the Queen Alia International Airport Free Zone,
benefits from a range of investor incentives and facilitation services offered
by the Free Zone.
Established in 2019, TAGTech is specialized in manufacturing
and producing high-spec laptops, tablets, and smartphones that meet global
