
ZARQA – Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for
Quality Assurance in Education (TAG-EDUQA), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh
Global Digital (TAG.GD), has successfully concluded the implementation of a
comprehensive training program entitled: “Teacher of the Future: Strategies,
Empowerment, and Creativity” for teachers of Al Huda and Al Nour Private School
in Zarqa Governorate. This came as part of the School’s strategic plan to
develop teachers’ competencies and empowering them with modern teaching tools.
The program was conducted in
line with the School’s commitment to adopting best educational practices,
including the Flipped Classroom Model, and shifting from traditional teaching
methods to active learning that effectively promotes interaction and creativity
in the classroom.
The 24-hour training program
addressed a number of vital topics including Active Learning Strategies such as
the Cooperative learning, Role-play, and the Six Thinking Hat, in addition to
an introduction to the concepts of differentiation and individual differences
in teaching and learning, project-based learning in accordance with the STEAM
methodology, usage of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in educational
planning and assessment, and designing modern assessment tools such as rubrics,
note checklists, and analyzing test results to enhance academic performance
At the end of the program,
TAG-EDUQA Executive Director, Dr. Maria Tawalbeh, presented an appreciation
shield to the School’s Administration, praising their dedication to investing
in its educational and administrative cadres, saying: “Such initiatives
significantly make a difference in the quality of education and clearly reflect
the School’s commitment to educational excellence and sustainable professional
development.”
She went on to commend the
School’s pioneering approach, highlighting it as a model for developing
teaching staff based on quality and excellence standards. Moreover, Dr.
Tawalbeh urged other schools to adopt similar sustainable development
strategies by taking advantage of specialized training programs that align with
the latest international educational trends and aim to enhance the overall quality
of teaching and learning.
For his part, Mr. Jumah Ayash,
General Director of Al Huda and Al Nour School, praised the program's quality
and content, commending the trainers’ exceptional level of expertise and
experience. He further asserted that: “Teacher professional development is at
the core of educational advancement”. “Therefore, we are committed to
