IRBID -------July 5, 2012 -------- The Arab Society of Certified Accountants (ASCA) held a graduation ceremony for the Arab Certified Public Accountant (ACPA) program at its branch in Queen Rania Center for Jordanian Studies and Community Service – Yarmouk University.

Students from various local community groups, including Economics and Administrative Sciences Faculty and graduates of the northern region universities, and employees of the private and public sectors took part in the program.

The graduation ceremony was held under the patronage of Dr. Ziad Al-Kurdi, vice president of Yarmouk University, and was organized by the Society in cooperation with Queen Rania Center.

Dr. Al-Kurdi stated that holding this course came in line with the Center’s aspirations and crystallizing the partnership that joins the Yarmouk University with the private and public sectors, which aims at   developing local institutions.

He also confirmed the University’s readiness for the reinforcement of this kind of partnerships with local institutions, especially ASCA, which enjoys a good reputation nationally and internationally.

The Society, and in cooperation with Yarmouk University, plans to hold more professional  courses that seek to develop the  abilities of the Economics and Administrative Sciences Faculty students and the employees of banking and financial institutions.

Mr. Salem Al Ouri, ASCA manager, said that these professional courses help develop and improve students professionally and “practically” and prepare them for the labor market and provide them with more job opportunities.
