Participants represent students from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at the University in addition to employees from the private and public sectors

 

IRBID --- July 31, 2012 – The Arab Society of Certified Accountants (ASCA)/ Queen Rania Center for Jordanian Studies and Community Service branch at Yarmouk University organized a graduation ceremony for participants at the preparatory course for the Jordanian Certified Public Accountant (JCPA).
The participants represent students from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at the University in addition to employees from the private and public sectors.

The graduation ceremony was held under the patronage of Dr. Ziad Al-Kurdi, vice president of Yarmouk University, and was organized in collaboration with Queen Rania Center.

Dr. Al-Kurdi stressed that convening this session came to fulfill “the goals and aspirations of the Center, the University, and the graduates. It also strengthens collaboration concept that links Yarmouk University with the private and public sectors.”

He stressed that this cooperation aims at upgrading local enterprises and preparing economics and administrative sciences students at the Yarmouk University professionally and in a way that distinguishes them in the local society and labor market, and confirming the University’s willingness to promote such partnerships with the institutions of Society, especially the ASCA which enjoys a good reputation inside and outside the country.

The Society’s branch in collaboration with Yarmouk University plans to hold more professional courses that aim at improving students’ capabilities in addition to delivering information related to the latest developments in local and international markets.
Dr. Salem Al-Ouri, ASCA director explained that this kind of professional courses presented by the Society contributes in raising the professional level of graduates and enhancing their chances in the labor market.
