AMMAN - The Jordanian
Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (JIACC) has renewed the previously
signed cooperation agreement with Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Knowledge Forum
(TAG-Forum), a member of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global), with the aim
of sustaining collaboration and coordination between the two parties to promote
the principles of integrity, transparency, and good governance, as well as to
fight corruption.
The agreement was signed by
Dr. Muhannad Hejazy, chairman of the Commission, and HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh,
TAG.Global founder and chairman.
The renewal of the agreement
underlines the collective responsibility to combat corruption and reinforce the
national integrity framework, since they are considered a national duty by all
sectors. It also seeks to foster a genuine partnership between the public and
private sectors as well as to consolidate a culture of integrity and good governance.
The renewed memorandum also
aims to strengthen cooperation between the two parties by maximizing their
efforts, capabilities, and available resources. It also serves as a model for
advancing the national role of the private sector in combating corruption.
