This project shall cover all editions of the International Standards starting from 2010 edition and shall be updated annually

AMMAN------ May 3, 2011 -------- The Arab Society of Certified Accountants (Jordan) signed an agreement with the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) to upload the Arabic translation of the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs) and International Financial Reporting Standards for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (IFRS for SMEs) on the IASB website for e-sale purposes.

The scope of this project shall include the following countries: Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Egypt, Kuwait, Libya, Tunisia, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, United Arab Emirates, Yemen, Bahrain and Palestine, in addition to all members, participants and interested parties from the International Accounting Standards Board worldwide.

It is also worth mentioning that this project shall cover all editions of the International Standards starting from 2010 edition and shall be updated annually.

This step comes in pursuit of the Society’s endeavors to provide class professional service to its members, researchers, scholars and practitioners in various fields of accounting at all local, Arab and international levels.

The Society is always keen to develop the accounting and management sciences and related principles applicable to all or some of the professional services. The Society also seeks to develop the level of competence, practice and conduct to the highest professional levels through the issuance of accounting literature and to cope with all recent developments in accounting and auditing professions.
