AMMAN – A delegation from the Jordanian Customs Department on Tuesday paid a visit to ag-ip-news Agency headquarters to discuss ways of cooperation in various fields.
During the visit, the delegation which included Emad Nosaeir, head of Research and Studies Department, Alia Abu-Esha, from Border Measures Department, Khaldoon Al-Momany, from the Electronic Encyclopedia Department, and Hana Al-Obaisi, head of the Public Relations Department, were briefed on the Agency’s goals, objectives and role in raising awareness on intellectual property (IP) issues.
Nosaeir commended the Agency’s efforts in the IP domain, and stressed the importance of having more cooperation among parties concerned with IP protection.
Roufan Nahhas, ag-ip-news editor in chief pointed out the important role of the Customs Department in protecting consumers from counterfeit and fake products.
Furthermore, Talal Al-Awadi, media officer in Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization, stressed the importance of the Department’s role in protecting intellectual property rights (IPRs).
