BEIRUT - Under the patronage of the Lebanese Minister of Economy and Commerce, Adnan Qassar, Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) and Sader Legal Publishing House will be organizing a signing ceremony of the ‘Intellectual Property Dictionary’ for its author Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, president of the Arab Society for Intellectual Property (ASIP) December 10, at Beirut Arab & International Book Fair.
The Dictionary is the first edition of its kind in the Arab region that unified the commercial terms in the Intellectual Property (IP) in one reference.
It contains 6,000 Latin and French words and terms that are used in English writings in the IP field such as; trademarks, patents, copyright and industrial designs.
In addition, the Dictionary has a special section for the Arabic terms and expressions listed according to the alphabetical order, a list of the international treaties, conventions and protocols administered by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in both English and Arabic.
Therefore, the Dictionary is considered a fundamental reference for researchers, law students, and those who work or have special interest in the various fields of IP.
