CAIRO - The first seminar in the Arab world to tackle issues related to post registration procedures in Europe is being held at Grand Hyatt Hotel in Cairo November 28, entitled “How to Protect your Trademarks and Designs in Europe”.
The seminar which is organized by the Arab Society for Intellectual Property (ASIP) and the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM) is held under the patronage of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Trade and Industry, in collaboration with the British Egyptian Business Association and the Italian Chamber of Commerce and sponsored by Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP).
The seminar contributes in raising awareness of the Arab businesses on the importance of filing and registering trademarks and designs in Europe.
Moreover, it focuses on the right approach which exporters, manufacturers, and trademark owners should carry out to safely protect their IP rights.
In addition, the seminar will provide the participants with information about appeals, revocations and invalidities in Europe.
