The chairman of the Arab Society for Intellectual Property (ASIP) Mr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh inaugurated a workshop yesterday entitled “Institutional Capabilities in Intellectual Property Offices in the Middle East – Perspective and Current Status” that was convened in the Venicia Intercontinental Hotel.
 
In his speech, Abu-Ghazaleh praised the constant development in the interest of intellectual property (IP) at the Ministry of Economy, and considered it to be far superior than that of its counterparts throughout the world when it comes to accuracy of information, procedural speed, validity of information and level of protection. 
 

He presented the developments occurring in the patents offices in Arab nations.
