Officials at the Abu-Ghazaleh Center are currently in contact with ministries and specialized administrations in Arab countries to inform them of programs that aim to enrich the information of executives in the business sector, enhance their understanding of the dynamics and work of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and build self-capability.
This is to be achieved through providing the information, skills and tools needed for complete and equal contribution to the global commercial order.

The training, which will be organized in Geneva and major Arab cities, will focus on the following primary programs:

A program for the trainees’ preparation that includes a series of various applications for Arab participants and focused programs that discuss select topics such as the execution of a particular agreement, disputes resolution and other programs dedicated to officials of a specific sector. Additionally, there will be programs that address the prerequisites and needs of a particular nation –which vary from one country to the next- and these will focus on select trade negotiations agreed upon in coordination with the concerned country.

The center was established at the start of this year, through a common initiative between the Arab Knowledge and Management Society (AKMS), Talal Abu-Ghazaleh International (TAGI) and the Centre for Applied Studies in International Negotiations (CASIN).
