AMMAN - Representatives from three Jordanian consulting firms received the Certified Manager Program (CMP) certificates upon completing the program which took place at the Jordan-United States Business Partnership Program (JUSBP) premises.
US business expert, Mr. Dennis McDermott, presented the certificates to representatives from each of the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Organization (TAGorg), Badran Co. for Studies and Administrative Consulting and Dar-El Khibra for Administrative Consulting.
The CMP is one of the most distinct projects to be executed by the JUSBP which managed to achieve remarkable results during a limited period of time such as lifting the productivity rate by 25-30%.
JUSBP also organized a two-day lecture whereby McDermott met with representatives and employees of the program.
In the lecture, McDermott tackled the subject of "Considering Humanitarian Elements at Work" in addition to several other topics such as; the problems facing managers when interacting with employees, how can managers effectively interact with such problems, the various means of non-verbal communication and how to create a positive effect on employees.
Moreover, McDermott touched on the subject of individual behavior and methods to change and improve it as well as the methods of debate in the working environment. Several examples were presented as a practical demonstration of the main topics of discussion.
The JUSBP is one of the programs operated by the US-based International Executive Service Corps (IESC) and is funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in cooperation with the Jordanian Ministry of Trade and Commerce.
