AMMAN – Yesterday, a special training course began for preparing and qualifying students for the exam of the Arab Society of Certified Accountants (ASCA), who will be sitting for the society’s exam next September.
 
Lecturing at the course, which is being held by collaboration between the Center for Consultations and Technical Services at the Continuous Training and Education Dept. at the University of Jordan and ASCA, will be experts in the areas of theoretical and practical accounting, auditing, law, taxes, financial administration and the English language.
 
It is worth noting that the ASCA exams are to obtain the title of ACPA i.e. Arab Certified Public Accountant. They will be convened in nine Arab cities at the same time. These cities are Amman, Riyadh, Jeddah, Alkhobar, Manama, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Cairo, Kuwait.
 
Hundreds of Arab students sit for these exams annually, which prepare qualified Arabs to serve the needs of economic growth in the Arab region.
