AMMAN - The Forum of Firms (FOF) has renewed the membership of
Talal Abu-Ghazaleh & Co. International (TAGI), a member of Talal
Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital (TAG.GD), after recognizing the company’s continued
compliance with the Forum’s membership standards for nearly twenty years since
joining in 2004.
In this context, HE Dr. Talal
Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of TAG.GD, has affirmed the company’s
unwavering commitment to professional quality and ethical standards across all
of TAG.GD offices worldwide.
As a member of the FOF, TAGI
remains dedicated to meeting membership requirements and actively contributing
to enhancing international auditing practices for the benefit of professional
service users. It is also committed to preserving quality control standards in
accordance with the International Standards on Quality Control (ISQC) issued by
the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB), in addition
to relevant national quality control and conduct standards.
Additionally, TAGI commits to
conducting internationally recognized internal quality reviews as permitted by
local regulations, and maintains policies and methodologies aligned with the
Code of Ethics for professional accountants and national codes of ethics in the
countries where it operates.
The FOF comprises 31 global
accounting firms, that are all committed to maintaining quality standards in
professional practice and adherence to international ethical professional
conduct guidelines for chartered accountants.
It is worth mentioning that,
the Forum of Firms (FOF) was established by the International Federation of
Accountants (IFAC). Talal Abu-Ghazaleh & Co. International is the sole Arab
company from the region that is a member of the Forum, represented by Mr. Jamal
Milhem, executive director of TAGI office in Palestine, Ramallah Office.
