AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal
Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital
(TAG.GD), has visited the Apostolic Nunciature to Amman, Jordan, to offer his
condolences on the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis, who – with a deep
sorrow - departed from this world after a life journey of profound spiritual
and humanitarian contributions.
During his meeting with the
Apostolic Nuncio, HE Monsignor Giovanni Pietro Dal Toso, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh
expressed his deep sorrow over the passing of a distinguished spiritual leader.
He paid tribute to Pope Francis's unwavering and steadfast commitment to peace
and human dignity, his advocacy for migrants and refugees, the poor, and the
marginalized, as well as his tireless efforts in protecting the environment and
promoting social justice.
During the visit, Dr.
Abu-Ghazaleh recalled his memorable meeting with Pope Francis at the Vatican
that left a long lasting mark through its profound messages of love, wisdom,
and deep humanity. He further highlighted His Holiness’s courageous stance on
the Palestinian cause and his steadfast support for justice and human rights.
At the end of the visit, Dr.
Abu-Ghazaleh extended his deep condolences to the Catholic Church, all
believers, and peace advocates worldwide, praying to God to grant mercy upon
the late Pope and guide the Church in carrying forward its mission in the bond
of peace, love, and unity, which Pope Francis exemplified throughout his life
journey.
Additionally, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh
wrote a commemorative message in the Embassy’s Condolence Book.
