AMMAN – The Civil
Status and Passports Department (CSPD) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding
(MoU) with Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital (TAG.GD) to enhance the professional
and technical services offered by the Department, and improve its capacities in
the fields of information technology and digital transformation.
During the signing ceremony, the Director
General of the Department, Eng. Ghaith Ghazi Al-Tayyeb, has stressed that the MoU is a strategic step toward
achieving digital transformation, developing capacities of the Department’s
cadres and supporting its efforts in the field of e-archiving.
He
further stated that the Memorandum represents a model for joint cooperation
between the public and the private sectors with the aim of developing the
digital infrastructure of the Department; improving the efficiency of its human
resources; and upgrading the quality of services rendered to citizens.
Furthermore, Eng. Al-Tayeb pointed out that signing
the MoU aligns with the strategic goals of the CSPD in corporate
modernization and embracing digital solutions, while building the capacity of
its employees through advanced training programs offered by TAG.GD and its
affiliate specialized professional and technical training centers.
He concluded by
praising this partnership with TAG.GD in view of its long expertise in the
fields of technology and consulting that would enhance the Department’s
objectives toward digitalization and corporate performance development.
For his part, HE Dr.
Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, TAG.GD founder and chairman, has expressed his pride in
this collaboration, reaffirming TAG.GD’s commitment to supporting Jordan’s
institutions in their development plans and efforts through the provision of
advanced technological and knowledge-driven solutions aligned with contemporary
needs.
