On the occasion of the end of his diplomatic mission in Jordan
 Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh Receives Chinese Ambassador to Jordan
AMMAN - HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital (TAG.GD), has received in his office HE Mr. Chen Chuandong, Chinese Ambassador to Jordan, during a visit to the Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Confucius Institute (TAG-Confucius) located at the TAG.GD’s headquarters in Amman.
The visit comes as part of the ongoing efforts to strengthen the friendly, cultural, and educational ties between Jordan and the People's Republic of China. The Ambassador, whose diplomatic term in Jordan is ending in a few days, thanked Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh for the significant role TAG-Confucius Institute plays in promoting the Chinese language and culture in Jordan and the Arab region, noting that the TAG-Confucius has become the primary destination for those eager to learn Chinese; the leading language of business, finance, and technology.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh welcomed the Ambassador, emphasizing the importance of strengthening Jordanian Chinese ties across various sectors which is witnessing increasing progression at all levels. He pointed out that the TAG-Confucius serves as a bridge for cultural exchange between the two countries, contributing to mutual understanding and academic exchange.
Moreover, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh emphasized the importance of introducing Arab culture to China, in the same way as TAG-Confucius is spreading the Chinese language and culture across the Arab region. He referred to the "Arabic Fluency Program", an initiative launched by TAG.GD to teach and spread the Arabic language and culture around the world.
For his part, the Chinese Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the leading role TAG.GD plays in advancing cultural and educational exchange, praising  TAG-Confucius Institute’s efforts in teaching the Chinese language and introducing Chinese civilization in Jordan and the region.
During his visit, the Ambassador toured TAG-Confucius’s facilities, where he was briefed on the educational programs and cultural activities offered.
 Discussions also included the future initiatives that aim at expanding bilateral cooperation in areas such as digital economy and innovation.
At the end of the visit, the two sides reiterated their keenness in advancing their close cooperation in a way that strengthens the historical friendship between Jordan and China, with a focus on shared goals in education, culture, and sustainable development.
