
CAIRO - The Egyptian General
Authority for Cultural Palaces (GACP), one of the main institutions within the
Egyptian Ministry of Culture, has published the children’s story ‘Talal, Son of
Adibeh’ via Toot App, a digital platform dedicated to distributing children's
stories.
‘Talal, Son of Adibeh’ is a
children story based on the childhood and remarkable life journey of HE Dr.
Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital
(TAG.GD). The story carries significant life values and life lessons. It also
offers an indirect symbolic depiction of the Palestinian cause, represented
through Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh’s life story, conveying details of the suffering of
the displaced Palestinian families and emphasizing that determination,
patience, and a steadfast pursuit of happiness and success can lead to
overcoming hardships.
As stated by the GACP, the
Toot App offers a collection of books, including ‘Talal, Son of Adibeh’ by
Jordanian author Ms. Areej Younis. The book, a biography addressing the
children, is filled with positive values, principles, and behaviors intended to
inspire the readers.
Toot App offers a valuable
opportunity for authors, writers, and publishing houses interested in
children's literature to publish their creative works. This is part of the
“Gifted Books” initiative, which aims to promote culture and foster imagination
and creativity in children, especially during school summer vacation.
It is worth mentioning that
the ‘Talal, Son of Adibeh’ story has been translated into numerous languages
with introductions written by both Arab and international authors in their
native languages, due to their interest in being part of this educational and
literary work. Furthermore, educational and pedagogical leaders across several
countries have called for including the story as part of extracurricular school
activities for early-grade students, where the Palestinian Ministry of
Education and Higher Education was the first to do so.
