On June 24, TAG-Confucius
Institute (TAG-CI) was officially approved as an overseas testing center for “Teachers of Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages certificate(CTCSOL)”
and it has signed a cooperation agreement with Chinese Testing International
Co., Ltd. (CTI) guided by Center for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC)
of the Ministry of Education of China. This marks a solid step forward in the
Institute’s efforts to promote the professionalization and standardization of
international Chinese language education. With this approval, TAG-CI becomes
the second institution in West Asia to hold this examination.
Jointly sponsored by CLEC and
CTI, CTCSOL this test is a widely recognized professional qualification system
in the field of international Chinese language education. The establishment of
the test center of TAG-CI will provide convenient career development
opportunities for Chinese language teachers in Jordan as well as in neighboring
countries. It will also support the localization and professional development
of Chinese language teaching professionals across the Middle East.
TAG-CI will take this
opportunity to leverage the resources of the test center, actively promote the
CTCSOL test, organize relevant training programs, and conduct standardized
tests to continuously enhance the instructional abilities and professional
competence of Chinese language teachers. TAG-CI aims to work closely with CTI
to build a more comprehensive system for training and certifying Chinese
language teachers.
Looking ahead, TAG-CI will
further expand its influence in international Chinese language education, serve
the needs of local education, and cultivate more qualified teachers with both
professional expertise and intercultural communication skills, contributing to
deepening people-to-people exchanges between China and Jordan.
