
AMMAN - HE Dr. Talal
Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital
(TAG.GD), discussed with Ms. Yasemin Kologlu, president of the Consortium for
Sustainable Urbanization (CSU), means of potential collaboration in sustainable
development, digital transformation, and professional education.
During the meeting conducted
via Zoom App., Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, in his capacity as the Honorary President of
the CSU, stressed the importance of maintaining effective communication and
facilitating collaboration between the two sides, especially in light of the
current challenges the world is going through today. He further stressed the need
for shared efforts to support environmental, social, and economic development
across various regions.
Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh also
emphasized on the necessity of strengthening international knowledge and
financial initiatives, pointing out that TAG.GD constantly offers its expertise
at the service of the global initiatives that aim at enhancing digital learning
and corporate development.
He went on to add that TAG.GD
has specialized technical teams providing professional services for website
analysis and digital performance evaluation. Such services are available to
development-focused organizations.
Moreover, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh
underlined the significance of making the CSU obtain the “Observer” status with
the United Nations, noting that this will positively and effectively enable it
to have a broader impact and opportunity to largely participate in reforming
international policies and initiatives.
During the meeting, Dr.
Abu-Ghazaleh directed Dr. Mushira Enezat to follow up on the collaboration file
with the CSU and coordinate with the team to implement the meeting’s proposals
discussed.
For her part, Ms. Kologlu
expressed her deep appreciation for the efforts exerted by Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh in
supporting the Sustainable Development Goals on the local and international
levels, affirming the importance of continued cooperation between the two
sides. She further presented a number of recommendations, including launching a
regular digital newsletter featuring updates on events, conferences, and joint
initiatives, as well as proposing sustainable development projects in
collaboration with the CSU team.
Ms. Kologlu also confirmed
that the CSU would extend an invitation to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh and his wife to
attend the CSU Annual Gala in New York on October 22, 2025, as honorary guests.
The meeting concluded with a
reaffirmation on the importance of this collaboration and implementing
practical initiatives that would positively contribute to creating a positive
impact on local and international levels.
