AMMAN – HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, founder and chairman of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital (TAG.GD), has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with businessman, Mr. Ali Al Fateh to cooperate in carrying out several activities and services.

Under the agreement, the two parties agreed to form joint working team to study the potential of future cooperation in various areas including domain names registration, trademark and patent protection and registration. This is in addition to providing financial and investment consulting, financial quality certification, corporate and family governance consulting, risk management, anti-money laundering, information technology and communication audit services, ICT security and governance, quality management system (ISO), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) consulting.

The MoU further included cooperation in promoting the TAG-EBook for digital learning and its adoption as an essential tool in educational institutions across Iraq, Kurdistan, and Turkey, as well as exploring the establishment of Talal Abu-Ghazaleh for Technology (TAGTech) factory in Iraq similar to the already established factories  in Egypt, Jordan, and Lebanon. It also includes the marketing of all TAGTech products, in addition to marketing TAG-DIT certification program in Iraq, Kurdistan, and Turkey.

Moreover, the MoU underlined the importance of developing a comprehensive program to qualify Arab certified public accountants, that covers academic studies, practical training, and specialized professional examinations in accounting and financial management, ultimately leading to obtaining the International Arab Certified Public Accountants (IACPA) certification.

The MoU also addressed cooperation in the field of cybersecurity, such as international cybersecurity testing, consultancy, capacity building, and obtaining relevant accreditations and licenses.

Accordingly, Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh has expressed his  hope that signing such a MoU would significantly contributes to expanding the provision of TAG.GD’s services, in line with its strategic goal of spreading knowledge.

For his part, Mr. Al Fateh has affirmed that cooperation with TAG.GD would effectively and positively help introduce the latest solutions and services that support economic and technological development in Iraq, Kurdistan, and Turkey.
