AMMAN-----July 10, 2012------ Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Business Forum will host a lecture by HE Ms Joanna Wronecka, Head of Delegation of the European Union (EU Ambassador) in Jordan on Tuesday July 10, 2012.
Ambassador Joanna Wronecka will discuss in this exciting lecture the European Union-Jordan Relations, its aspects, challenges and future in addition to the current cooperation in major fields.
The EU was for many years Jordan's leading trade partner and main source of imports, since 2008 it has become Jordan's second trade partner, behind Saudi Arabia (covering 15.7% of total trade and 21.3% of Jordanian imports) with a total trade amounting to approximately €2.8 billion in 2009 (EU website).
Before joining the EU Foreign Service in 2011, Ambassador Joanna Wronecka served as Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Morocco, Mauritania (non-resident), Egypt and Sudan (non-resident).
She started Her work in Jordan as Head of Delegation of the European Union in January 2011.
