– Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global Digital (TAG.GD) celebrated the graduation of the
first batch of Gazan students under the “Talal Abu-Ghazaleh One Million
Refugees' Higher Education Digital Scholarship”, reaffirming the TAG.GD’s
steadfast commitment to supporting education, empowering Palestinian youth, and
reinforcing its deep belief that investing in people is the foundation for
building a sustainable future.
The
event was attended by Ms. Samar Al-Labbad, TAG.GD deputy chair, who conveyed
the congratulations and best wishes of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, TAG.GD
founder and chairman, to the graduates. She further emphasized that education
and the empowerment of Arab youth represent a cornerstone of the TAG.GD’s
corporate strategy, reiterating TAG.GD's dedication to providing quality
educational opportunities for the Gazan students, given the harsh circumstances
the people of the Gaza Strip experience on a daily basis.
Ms.
Al-Labbad also praised the students' determination and steadfastness to pursue
their education despite the challenges, stating that their achievement is as an
honorable model for the Palestinian youth and their ability to turn hardships
into inspiring success stories.
She
added that TAG.GD will continue to support educational and training initiatives
aimed at building human capacity and enhancing opportunities for youth in the
fields of education, work, and innovation, driven by its mission to serve Arab
societies and empower future generations.
For
their part, the graduates expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to
TAG.GD for such a humanitarian and educational initiative. They also noted that
it provided them with the opportunity to pursue their educational journeys and
achieve their academic and professional aspirations.
